WELCOME...
This has been a very busy month indeed. First our latest book catalogue arrived; please look out for it with your December issue. Alternatively, download the digital version of the new catalogue which links directly to our website as you click on a book title, which should make it far easier for you to use. Just click here to download the digital version.Subscribers get a 20% discount. We have included subscriber codes to access this discount from the website on the back of the label carrier which will arrive with your next magazine. This should be with you on Monday the 4th November, but if you really can't wait, email ruth@homefarmer.co.uk or phone us on 01772 633444.
We've also been very busy changing and updating the Home Farmer website. It's now far easier to read, much more responsive and compatible with smart phones and tablets too. What's more I am now tasked with the job of creating a regular blog for the website... lucky old me. Our aim is to make the site a huge resource for all things home farmer-ish, and over the coming weeks much more content will be added and developed. We do need you to come on to the site to comment on it, and we would also like you to share it via social networks. And yes, we are getting a Home Farmer App some time next year. We shall keep you abreast of all developments.

In this month's issue...
We speak to 3 DIY chicken coop builders about their highly individual and very bespoke designs. One started out as a stand for a series of solar panels but the panels now sit on the sloping roof of a stylish coop - a much better use of the space.

In this month's issue...
We have some utterly fabulous cakes and bakes, including some truly decadent ones to help get you through the Christmas period and beyond the puritanism of the inevitable New Year's resolutions.
