Most fruit groups start from small beginnings. They can evolve from confessions over the garden wall about apples and other fruits going to waste, or a shared appreciation of our favourite garden fruits. Whatever their beginnings, fruit groups contribute so much to local communities and aren't just about turning unwanted fruits into precious resources. Fun-filled events, companionship, creativity and fund-raising are some of the many positives.
