The rise of inspirational 'fruit groups'!

Most fruit groups start from small beginnings.  They can evolve from confessions over the garden wall about apples and other fruits going to waste, or a shared appreciation of our favourite garden fruits.  Whatever their beginnings, fruit groups contribute so much to local communities and aren't just about turning unwanted fruits into precious resources.  Fun-filled events, companionship, creativity and fund-raising are some of the many positives.

If you would like to set up a fruit group and you need some inspiration, read about Brighton's very own Scrumping Project, and click through to our handy guide to community juicing.
