ADAS invites you to a FREE sheep workshop aimed at optimising health and improving management of ewes on commercial farms. The event will be run by Nerys Wright, ADAS Livestock Consultant.
Subjects covered will include:
- Lameness: Diagnosis, Cause, Prevention and Control
- Management of ewes in late pregnancy to maximise lamb survival and flock welfare.
Management will include:
- Feeding ewes and general nutrition
- Handling and good management in the run up to lambing.
The morning session will be held in a local venue followed by lunch. The afternoon session will comprise of a farm walk.
This meeting is 100% funded by Livestock Health South East and is FREE to all
attendees.
