The Maldon High Street
Christmas Fayre –

Thursday evening the 7th December was another outing for team EESG.
We had a wonderful stall in the High Street just outside the Mauldeune Centre we had the Jams, Chutneys and other EESG merchandise for sale along with Madeline’s Daughter's amazing crochet items which included pan holders and Christmas Tree Decorations a very talented family the Garwood’s.
Norman came along too with his lovely bird and bug boxes which always draws a crowd and we had beautiful Mistletoe and Holly donated to the group by Mr Kelleher who is going to write us a little bit for next month all about his Mistletoe growing.
We arrived in the high street for 5.30 and in no time with the help of Belinda, Martyn, Madeline Danni and myself we were set up and ready to go in no time at all.
We had a strong flow of people all evening and very nearly sold out of all the Jams and Chutneys. All of the Mistletoe was snapped up and mainly by the older generation not sure what this says about the young of today!
It was a super evening and we hope to return next year with more goodies to sell.
On Friday, Danni received an email from the organisers asking us to contact a lady who had purchased some of our Jam who had got home, tasted it and wanted to buy more! When Danni spoke to her she asked for the location of our shop.
A shop! Another idea for the future I’m thinking.
